Break yarn leaving 12 inch tail. With a tapestry needle, pull yarn through all live stitches forming a ring to close the toe. Make sure toe is secure and seam slipper from toe to marker placed on row 28. Fold cast on edge in half and sew seam for center back.

Ruffle Trim
Rnd 30: Chain 3 dc in same sc, 2 dc in each sc to marker, remove marker and join with sl st
Make 2 cords of chain stitch to desired length (or use ribbon), weave through loops on bag at opposite sides to achieve “cinch” effect. Knot ends of cords. For additional embellishment, string beads on cord before knotting.
