The Maddison Project

Little Maddison Paige McCormack was born 3 months early on February 23, 2008 and went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 30, 2008.  She was a precious gift sent to change the lives of so many.

Simple Blanket for the Maddison Project

Materials:

Very soft yarn of any weight

Needles recommended on ball band of yarn

Gauge is not really required, but you don’t want it to be too loose

Blanket:

Cast on 4 sts

Row 1:  Knit

Row 2: K2, yo, knit to end of row

Repeat Row 2 until the blanket is as wide as you want the blanket to be along one of the two edges not on the needle.  (22-24 inches might be a good length)

Decrease row:  K1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, knit to end of row

Repeat this row until there are only 4 stitches left

K2tog, K2, bind off to last 2 stitches, k2tog, bind off last stitch
